CLEVELAND — The winning lottery numbers just keep coming in, but will either of the two ginormous jackpots, which combined total more than $1 billion, soon be claimed? On Saturday, the $470 million Powerball jackpot numbers, with a cash option of $362.7 million, were announced.

• Due to the COVID19 pandemic emergency changes have been made to the Powerball jackpot. The starting amount will now be $20 million and increase by an amount based on current national sales. Select 5 out of 69 white ball numbers (these can be drawn in any order to win). Then select 1 out of 26 numbers for the Powerball.
• Powerball® costs $2 per play. Select five numbers from 1 to 69 for the white balls; then select one number from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball. Choose your numbers on a play slip or let the lottery terminal randomly pick your numbers. The Powerball jackpot grows until it is won. Players win a prize by matching one of the 9 Ways to Win.
• Five numbered balls are drawn from 1 to 69 and one numbered ball is drawn from 1 to 26. If all your numbers match those that are drawn, you win the jackpot, which starts at an amount set by MUSL and grows until someone wins. If other players also match all six numbers, the prize will be shared in equal amounts. Each Powerball® play is $2.

Update: 11:09 p.m.: The winning Powerball numbers drawn Saturday night, Jan. 16, are: 14, 20, 39, 65, 67 and the Powerball is 2. The Powerplay is 3x. The jackpot was at $640 million. The cash value was $487.7 million.

No one won the big jackpot in Friday's Mega Millions drawing. That jackpot is now at an estimated $850 million with a cash value of $628.2 million.

Update: 8:06 p.m. There are less than a couple hours left for Ohio Lottery players to buy their tickets for a chance to win Saturday's $640 million Powerball jackpot.

Pools close at 10:00 p.m. and drawings begin at 10:59 p.m.

However, the chances taking home the grand prize are slim, with odds of winning at 1 in about 292 million.

Those who miss the Saturday night's Powerball drawings can still buy a ticket for the next Mega Millions drawings on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

The jackpot for Mega Millions is now at an estimated $850 million.

Tickets for both the Powerball and Mega Millions drawings cost $2 per play.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn Friday night, Jan. 15, are: 3, 11, 12, 38, 43 and the Megaball is 15. The Multiplier is 4x. The jackpot was at $750 million.

No one picked all six winning numbers in Wednesday's Powerball drawing. That jackpot is now at $640 million. The next Powerball drawing is at 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16.

The estimated $850 million jackpot would be the third largest prize in American lottery history, below only two billion-dollar-plus jackpots: the world record Powerball jackpot of $1.586 billion on Jan. 13, 2016 and the current Mega Millions record of $1.537 billion on Oct. 23, 2018. The latter is the world’s largest prize won on a single ticket, as the Powerball record was shared by three winning tickets.

There were a total of 4,682,795 winning tickets at all prize levels in the Jan.15 drawing, including eight that matched the five white balls to win the game’s $1 million second prize. Two of those were sold in New Jersey, with one each in California, Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio and Wisconsin.
